banoffee sundae

Serves 6

ingredients

  • 6 chocolate digestive biscuits
  • 2 small bananas
  • Juice of 1 large orange
  • 30g toasted flaked almonds
  • Jar of Bonne Maman Confiture de Caramel
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • 150ml double cream, lightly whipped

Method

  1. Crush the digestive biscuits.
  2. Chop the bananas into small pieces and mix with the orange juice. Stir them into the crushed biscuits.
  3. Divide this mixture into the bottom of six sundae glasses.
  4. Top with half the flaked almonds.
  5. Drop one teaspoon of Confiture de Caramel onto the crushed biscuit/banana mixture in each glass.
  6. Fill up the glasses with scoops of vanilla ice-cream. Top with a spoon of whipped cream and the remaining almonds.
  7. Finally, drizzle over another teaspoon of Confiture de Caramel and serve.
